Breakvale

When high school English teacher Grayson Ender first arrived in Breakvale, he thought it appeared to be a picturesque little Appalachian town. Beneath its charming, small-town veneer, however, he finds that life there is not as he had imagined. Grayson soon encounters the Beast, a spectral creature bent on devouring the secrets people keep, and slaughtering those who keep them. When two teenagers in his class turns up missing, Grayson wades deep into the mythos and mystery of a monster plaguing the people of Breakvale, where the town motto is spoken often among its residents: "Truth is Life!"
